New zealand nationals 2024
Kia ora s&c interest register
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Places in teams will be chosen by a coaching committee. Places are dependent on the number of athletes available and in some teams there might be competition for spots. While we will try to find teams for everyone, there is no guarantee on places. There are also injuries and other changes that can happen during the year that could bring about changes to teams.
2. There may be a $50 part payment called for before the 1 April registration date to help us lock our teams in. If this is called, any payments will be refunded if you are not selected for a team.
3. For the Nationals competition, only the committee led teams representing Kia Ora S&C will be allowed to train at Kia Ora S&C.

Registration for the 2024 New Zealand Nationals teams event is fast approaching!
Team Nationals is the most well known and supported teams competition in Aotearoa, with teams from all over the country getting involved. The competition is a yardstick to measure how effective our training is compared to everyone else in Taupo, our region, and New Zealand. They don't say "Finding the Fittest" in New Zealand for nothing! As a CrossFit gym, we stand by our training methods and look forward to testing ourselves in the heat of competition.
Once teams are formed, there is a need for athletes to dedicate some time towards team training. How much and when will be determined by your coaches and your teams. Coaches hope to have a draft plan ready asap so stay tuned! Training days/ times are yet to be confirmed.
There may also be costs involved including registration, accomodation, etc. Once the teams are confirmed we will try to reduce those costs through fundraising activities.
In order for us to be ready to register teams on 1 April, we need to know how many people are interested and which divisions they would like to compete in. Sooo, please fill out the form above and we'll try to make sure you don't miss out!
If you haven't competed at NZ Nationals previously, take a look at the standards and sample events below to work out which division you might fit into.
All teams are made up of 6 athletes - 3 Male and 3 Female, except Masters which is 2 Male and 2 Female. Masters divisions are aged 35-44 or 45+.
